Thank you for taking the time to research candidates for your next City of Dexter Mayor. Although not as interesting as state or federal offices, the people you elect to our City Council (including Mayor) often have a greater opportunity to affect your daily life.
Thank you to everybody who has stepped forward to serve our community by sitting on a public board, participating in a community group, or running for office. There’s a saying that goes something like Rome isn’t loved because she is beautiful; she is beautiful because she is loved. We are fortunate to live in a community in which so many people give of themselves to help their community.
Thank you for the honor of serving on our City Council for these past seven years. It has been the most rewarding and enjoyable (and at times frustrating) experience of my life.
Ok, on to business…
Since it has been especially difficult to meet and chat with folks in Covid World, which has been even more tedious than Water World, I’m going to do my best to share as much information about myself and my position on the issues facing the City as possible here. I look forward to meeting and hearing from you.
